About Dr. Brody

Michael Brody, DDS, is a pediatric dentist and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been practicing for over 25 years. Dr. Brody sees patients at Brody Pediatric Dentistry in Aventura and Miami Beach, Florida. 

Dr. Brody earned his degree of doctorate of dental surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in Manhattan. He was the past chairman of the Pediatric Dentistry Mount Sinai Hospital general dental residency program. He is currently on staff at Nicklaus Children's Hospital.

Dr. Brody holds a pediatric conscious sedation license and is certified in ACLS (Advanced cardiovascular life support) and PALS (Pediatric advanced life support). He is a member of the FDA (Food and drug administration) and ADA (American dental association). In addition, Dr. Brody is very involved in his community; he is the current president of his local synagogue and was also the past president of the North Dade Miami Beach Dental Society.

Dr. Brody has extensive training and experience in treating special needs patients and children with extensive medical histories. He is also qualified to treat patients in the hospital under general anesthesia. Dr. Brody's practice philosophy is simple. He strives to treat every child as if it is his own. He stresses prevention as opposed to constant treatment. He makes every encounter and experience as comfortable as possible.

Outside the office, Dr. Brody enjoys spending time with his family. He has four children, two daughters-in-law, and a grandson. Both his eldest son and his daughter-in-law are in their fourth year of dental school. Dr. Brody's hobbies include playing tennis and working on building his boat.
